For Young People Children are precious to their parents and also to Jesus. He said to His disciples when they discouraged parents from bringing their children to Him that He might bless them: “Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 19:13,14). God has made a covenant with His people and with their children, to save them from their sins and to be their Friend forever. Believers are His sheep and their children are the lambs of His flock (Isaiah 40:11). Jesus is the good shepherd who gives His life for the sheep (John 10:11).
